Five persons died when a school bus collided with a microbus in Narayanpur, Dang today morning. 23 others were injured.
The bus (Ra 1 ka 191) belonging to Padmodaya Public School was going towards Narayanpur to bring students when it collided with passenger microbus (Ra 1 Ja 372) en route to Ghorahi. Three passengers in the microbus died on the spot in the incident that occurred in Saudikula of Narayanpur, according to chief of district police Kuber Kadayat. Two others died in course of treatment.
Police said the deceased include 3 females and 2 males, but they are yet to ascertain their identity. The injured are being treated at Sub-regional Hospital in Ghorahi.
